Rob Armstrong for Treasurer

Rob Armstrong brings decades of financial expertise and community leadership to public service. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a BS in economics who holds a master’s in communication management from USC’s Annenberg School, Rob has built a distinguished career in financial analysis and risk management. He served as the senior financial analyst at Entercom Communications where he managed financial operations for more than 100 radio stations nationwide and previously worked as a commercial insurance underwriter at Chubb Insurance where he analyzed and priced risk policies for manufacturers and transportation companies.

Deeply committed to our community, Rob has served as treasurer and operations manager for the Radnor Democratic Committee since 2015 and currently serves as treasurer for Friends of Lisa Borowski. Lisais Radnor’s state representative in Pennsylvania’s House (168th district). He previously served on the Radnor Township School Board from 2009–2013 and volunteered as treasurer for Ithan Elementary’s parent-teacher organization.

When not serving his community, Rob is an accomplished writer with multiple published works. He is the author of the award-winning novel Daddy 3.0: A Comedy of Errors, which received the 2017 Independent Author Network Award for Best Comedy/Satire Novel. His short stories appear in several literary journals, including Evening Street Review, Perceptions Magazine, El Portal Literary Journal, and Euphony (University of Chicago).

Rob Armstrong, as an over 20-year resident of Wayne who lives there with his wife and children who attended Radnor’s schools, understands fiscal responsibility and community values. He has the experience, education, and dedication to serve our township effectively.
