Howard Childs for Ward 6 Commissioner
Howard Childs is a lifelong Wayne resident with deep roots in the community. A graduate of Radnor High School's class of 1980, Howard continued his education at Delaware County Community College, earning an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management. His professional career includes service as an Associate Engineering Technician at Lockheed Martin.
Deeply committed to faith and community service, Howard is an ordained deacon and licensed minister at Second Baptist Church of Wayne, where he has served in multiple leadership roles, including youth pastor, assistant pastor, and interim minister.
Howard's dedication to Radnor extends well beyond his church walls. He coached Radnor Girls Basketball for 13 years, shaping the lives of countless young athletes. His commitment to public service is demonstrated through his graduation from Radnor Township's Citizens Police Academy, his current service on Radnor's Parks & Recreation Board, his membership on the Youth Aid Panel (YAP) for Radnor Township, and his leadership as Chairman of the Radnor Township Civic Association (RTCA).
